What We Did.
Company Overview
Jolly Back, founded by a physiotherapist Lorna Taylor in 2009 to provide practical and ergonomic solutions, backed up by trusted advice, for employers and employees working with young children
The core vision is to improve the working lives and comfort of those who teach and care for children, whilst positively supporting children’s learning through expert advice, award-winning products and sincere customer service.
In the fall of 2018, the company took the brave step into eCommerce and set-up an online shop for the products and to provide a source of information regarding back care.
The Brief
Jolly Back approached us to design and develop a high quality website that would enable them to sell their products online to parents, schools and other institutions.
Rather than simply being an online shop, the website had to also provide professional and qualified advice on back care and other related matters.
The new website would also look to integrate online and offline sales data into their existing XERO accountancy system.
The vision was by presenting the new website as a trusted source of information, this would ultimately lead to improved sales and quality referrals.
Our Solution
After meeting Lorna at her house in Smalley, it was quickly apparent that a fresh and structured approach was needed to planning and designing the website.
We took Lorna through a structured mind mapping session which covered all areas of the business. Not just the website. Issues such as payment gateways to managing sales and content on the website.
The second stage was to begin designing and agreeing the new look and feel through a series of wireframes and screen mock-ups,.
On agreement of the look and feel we built the new online shop using WooCommerce and imported her range of products into the backend admin area of the website.
After inputting all the content, testing all areas making sure they worked correctly – we lastly linked the website to their existing XERO system.
We continue to work and support Lorna and Jolly Back on a daily basis – helping her achieve success through excellence online.
